Once an artist finds a subject he likes, it's often hard to stop painting it and he often returns again and again. The Sanibel Island lighthouse is one of those for me not only because I once lived nearby and could see its light shining at night but because of how, though it sits near the beach, it's also surrounded by dense island foliage. Here's an updated and bit more impressionistic view of it.
